Poor appraisal. Undervalued additions and enhancements. Word on the street is that FHA appraisers undervalue and this is certainly true. When you add \$50K in additions to a home, you expect that a few thousand dollars would be accounted for to bring the value to the contract price. We even had another appraiser of 40 years + review it. I won t tell you what he said but it wasn t good.
