I love Cleary Lake and their attentiveness to my animals. My cat is very comfortable with them even though she can be very anxious and Dr. Tate is very informative. It really helps as someone who is just starting out with owning a cat. Thank you Cleary Lake!!
Misdiagnosed my dog. Said he had conjunctivitis. I was not convinced and gave the medication they prescribed a few days to work. I then sought a second opinion with another practice. They instantly diagnosed horners syndrome as soon as they saw him. Horners syndrome can be caused by inflammation of the ear! They also prescribed ear cleaner as he had a infected ear. Cleary Lake had a vet that was already onsite at my boarding barn. She was extremely kind and said she would also take some time to look at my horse's open wound. She looked at it for a minute and said he was fine and healing normally. He was severely infected. We called another vet out. The wound needed to be drained and continue with a drain tube for a week. Cleary Lake did not take any significant amount of time to assess my horse, wrote him off, and charged us a couple hundred dollars. Had we not called a different vet, ... read more

I run a horse rescue as well as run a boarding facility and own 30 horses of my own. The staff at Cleary is like family. They are so caring and compassionate. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for equine care!
charging someone $60 when you can't do anything for their pet because you are "about to close" is ridiculous. Especially knowing that their dog is in a critical situation.
