The company is okay but they're automated pay by phone system is one of the worst that I've ever used it doesn't recognize my PIN it doesn't recognize my card number and it takes about 9 minutes just to pay a damn power bill.
The amount of outages we have experienced is absurd. Not to mention the hours if not days it takes them to get power back on. I have a separate build on our property that is powered by avista and it has never lost power for more than a few hours. It is completely unacceptable to have a building 150 feet from my house have power yet the house doesn’t for days on end.
The worst power co in the northwest. Fact. Our power goes off more frequently than my alarm clock. Most recently we’re out power 2 days and counting from wind. And the rotten cherry on top, when I called to speak with customer service rep dealt with snark and condescending attitude. They have a monopoly in our area however so no wonder they operate like a shady gestapo.
