This is by far one of the best Eye and Optometry centers I have ever seen. You will know that right from the check-in staff, very friendly, helpful and always smiling. The center has a rigorous examination system where the patient goes through 2-4 tests and scans before meeting the case doctor. All of their technicians are highly trained and friendly, everything goes very smoothly. Finally, the doctors are incredibly friendly and professional. Very knowledgeable and caring.
The new location is nice and parking is great where you don't have to pay. Technicians and the doctor were fantastic but the receptionists lacked personality and were very curt and rude. When I checked in, I was merely pointed to the waiting area. When I was leaving and booked my next appointment with a different receptionist, I was given my appointment card and that was it; she didn’t smile or wish me a good day. I would have given five stars but the reception desk staff lacked basic civility.
The experience was good overall but I am a type 1 diabetic and book appointments according to schedules that I have to follow. I didn't get in to see the doctor until 3 hours after my scheduled appointment making me miss my lunch by over 2.5 hours by the time I finally got to a restaurant. For me this is a problem that needs to be addressed.
My Appointment went flawlessly with Dr. Yau and his staff from check in through to the end. Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Also the whole Appointment proceeded in a very timely manner with very little waiting between procedures. Thank you
My dad(65) was referred to this clinic. I took him as he needed to see a specialist and needed to be dilated. They took great care of us and were honest in the assessment, requiring more information and clearer photos, they booked us in for more tests and photos. We look forward to them helping us now and into the future.
