They put in a salt system and didn't maintain it with salt. We were getting an abundance of algae. Including black algae. I took a test bottle of water to Leslie pool and there was no salt only chlorine but not enough chlorine.. So I canceled service. They were suppose to remove their salt system and fix our pool back with chlorine. I treated and treated our pool for 3 years. Spent well over a thousand dollars treating it. We had service from them for a month and they did a less than ok job EVERY TIME. We called a different company to check it out and they were shocked at the amateur level of work. Don't go through them unless you like throwing away money. Also, customer service is completely lacking. We called multiple times to address the issue and it wasn't until cancelling that management decided to call us back.

We acquired this service when we purchased our house. Over the past 3 years the service is definitely inconsistent. The current pool tech we have spends less than 4 minutes each week on our pool- seriously I have timed him several times. I know our pool is very clean but its almost comical watching him through the window. Actually he even does a poor job when we have been outside physically watching him. My wife and I have been customers of Clearly Poolman since arriving in Texas in 2013. We are very pleased with them. I've read the other comments and understand why people respond this way, but I heartily disagree with them. CP has always treated us well and have partnered with us keeping our pools in good shape. Just today Dustin came out (with less than 24 hour request) and inspected our system for a second time in about two weeks. They are really good and very reliable, and their service reps are friendly.
Used this pool service for many years but last two years more interested in getting new accounts than taking care of old customers. Don't waste your time with this company.
I have used Pool Chlor which has changed to Clearly Poolman for the past 14 years..they have always been dependable and honest. Their service rep/tech Micha is GREAT...he has always explained the whole chem process that goes on in my pool...he has always taken care of every problem that has come up.
