Clearfork was my chance to restart. I have struggled with mental health for such a long time and when I went to clearfork I thought it would be just any other hospital or residential I’ve been too. However, they totally proved me wrong. I was welcomed by the staff and by the girls and it soon became my home. Clearfork staff became my family and the girls became my sisters. I was a client at Clearfork girls academy in Fort Worth tx for a period of 2 months. Throughout my time there I was able to achieve an overwhelming amount of personal growth. The staff were a key factor in my journey. They are attentive, supportive, understanding, and patient. Where do I even get started. I think I’d rather get skinned alive then come to this dump site. One of the staff constantly smelt like burnt ham. They would give us sink water and told us it is a privilege to get filtered water. They literally give you checks for every little thing, you could literally breathe the wrong way and it’s a check.
