Dr. Akor is amazing! I feel she is highly knowledgeable in her field of specialization of adult strabismus. I went into my surgery with great confidence in her skills after several office visits explaining procedures and pre surgery measurements. Surgery went well and great results the very next day. LOVE Dr. Akor! She is so great with my daughter (5yo) and just completed eye surgery on my girl and everything went great! Dr. Akor is always cheerful when we meet with her and sounds very knowledgeable on all things related to what we’re asking about.
Extremely disappointing experience, especially for a pediatric patient. We spent more than two hours at this appointment, yet the doctor spent less than four minutes in the room with my daughter. She did not greet us when she came in, barely spoke to my daughter, and immediately began examining her without making any effort to introduce herself or make my child comfortable.
