I rate five stars the empathy and professionalism of the floor staff. The facility uses a very basic archaic methodology. Stabilize the patient, release with a short term supply of medication, and a mutual agreement on an outpatient therapy plan. Not difficult to see what is wrong with this plan. How can you be so naive to think a patient with severe mental health, no place to go (because he was evicted from his apartment) would respect this agreement after 10 days of hospitalization. Someone died there when I was in outpatient due to neglect
Was a patient here they kept me longer than supposed. Doctor Mirin Babak put everyone on gabapentin and trazadone. He didn't talk to me for days he always avoided me. He told me my meds doc was my New Doc and he told me he only does the meds again I would try to talk to him and he was rude and ignored alot of things and very unprofessional. I'll sue.
My mom is in here now we did a "family" session which was who was my mom going to stay with I told her not me because my mom been calling her drug dealer in there to get ahold of us and the therapist and any got in a disagreement because I said no 3 times and she said if a cab picks up your mom she will stay with you no she will not at the end of the day and we found a list of rehab centers that would get her in now that accept her health insurance and they all told us if she applies she does meet the criteria as a candidate... read more
Thought I should add that I've been here twice and I'm glad they closed! Forced most patients, myself included to stay past time we needed by threatening a court ordered hold. Conch, I believe was his name was part of that. I hope those using financial gain to abuse patients rot in hell
