Great spot, diverse menu, good wine list, excellent service, my kind of place.
Our steak was cooked perfectly and delicious, but disappointed by the crab cakes
What a perfect dining experience! Beyond the delicious food (really delicious!!) the service was top notch! It felt like the entire staff was working as a team - the hostess brought over our cocktails, the bartender cleared a (clearly empty) plate as he walked by, and our waitress Emily was very knowledgeable about the food - her recommendations were perfect. We’ll be going back!
We have dined here several times and never been disappointed. The menu offerings are creative in every category and delicious. Cocktails are also excellent. The servers are friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Claywood for a memorable experience.
I had a pricey eggplant dish that was small and greasy. We had a wonderful bartender. I hear he’s been fired. This is a small town and people know about the turnover here. Notice the staff changes every time you go in. The word is that the owner is a one-woman firing squad. So, front of the house looks nice. Beautiful bar. But staff quits or are fired, because of an unhealthy controlling atmosphere. Remember, small town! * ClayWouldn’t
