All the vets there are fabulous! Dr. Furlong has been our longtime vet for 20 plus years! The newer doctors are wonderful and kind. The staff is top as well! Every time I bring in my anxious dog, they treat her like she is the best dog they have ever met. Shower her with affection, give her time to sniff them and get to know them so she relaxes a bit.... thank you!
My kitty is a little extra susceptible to illness given he is FIV+, so he has dealt with one thing after another in the short time I have had him. All of the staff here are super kind, knowledgeable, and reasonable with their treatments for my boy. I can't thank them enough for helping get Catsanova back to tip-top shape. I trust my kitty with them and know it won't break the bank either. I recommend highly!
We just loved Dr. Furlong and his staff. They took such care of our Molly for almost 16 years. Sadly, we had to put her to sleep. We are just sick about it. But she was having such bad seizures it had affected her brain. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital. We are too old to get another dog now. It wouldn't be fair. We sure loved our shih Tzu, Molly. Our house is not the same.
My mother and I have been honored to be able to be part of the Clayton Road Veterinary Hospital family! For over 20 years they have been there for us during happiness and unfortunately sadness. They possess kindness, empathy and professionalism. When my mother moved to Lake St. Louis, MO she would still drive 45 minutes there and back just to see Dr. Furlong with any pet issues. Beth, Julie, David and staff have been angels to us. The drive became too far for her once her doctor's gave the word that she is no longer to live ... read more
The only reason I gave them 5 stars was that was as high as you could go. They are a 10 out of 5 if you ask our family. My brother started the trend and when our vet politely told us to take our dying dog home on Saturday and call him Monday. If we had waited she would have been gone. Not the way of these people here at Clayton Road Vet! Dr. Furlong and his staff truly care. They are for the people who believes pets are family. He has saved 2 of our Schnauzers from life threatening illnesses. Cricket who is gone now and Litt... read more

Dr Furlong is the best! Knew exactly what to do when our Rudy had a reaction to a shot that was given to him! Acted quickly and got it done without hesitation!! He has been wonderful over the past 15 years!!
