Do Not buy from Clayton Homes. And yes they own Oakwood Homes too. I bought a modular home from them and paid full price up front because it was custom. I expected a beautiful walk-in home like they promised. They never delivered it. It was left on someone else’s property in pieces. I had to make arrangements to have it delivered and set up by another company – and pay an additional $10k to get it done. At 68 years old I don’t need any more experiences like this one!!!
