RecommendedI do recommend Clayton but one of their financing people/companies is Vanderbilt and they were trying to rip me off because I don't have great credit. I was looking at a $93K house and the deal that Vanderbilt gave me was $25K+ down payment for taxes, closing costs, etc. and then I would be paying about $736 a month for 23 years. If you do the math, you are spending approximately $244k+ on the $93K home just because you don't have great credit. The customer service is the worst. A home was purchased almost a year ago and the fight began for SEVERAL things to be repaired, replaced or DONE CORRECTLY. They took money for services that were not completed or not done to begin with. Numerous calls to them were left unreturned or returned with empty promises of repairs.....in other words, lies. I bought my home there 2 years ago and I paid cash for it so therefore I only had a year warranty and since then I have had water in a light fixture, 2 holes in my soaker tub, a cracked ceiling, a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink and a toilet in the master bathroom that doesn’t stop running. I am highly upset because I paid 44,000 cash for a brand new home that I have had nothing but problems out of.
Waiting in traffic for 10 minutes because the truck driver couldn't get it in the narrow gate. Traffic was backed up by a mile each way. Yall need to widen the gates so a truck can pull in without backing up 10 times.
Mr.James is simply phenomenal! He is excellent with any questions or concerns you may have along the way. I highly recommend this location solely because of his diligence.
