They had my mother pay for home in full in July before production even started. She was supposed to move in in September. Production was delayed because of COVID. The house has been produced and on the lot for almost two months and she is still not in it. Matt scheduled an appointment to finally meet her to get the keys the night before Thanksgiving; 15 minutes before he was supposed to be there he had someone else call and cancel because it was DARK OUT!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!! It is not worth the ink and paper it’s printed on. This has been some of the worst work from any “professionals” you would ever see. Employees are nice but that is where it ends. Once you buy your home they are much different people to deal with. After two septic tank issues; two water leaks; water damage; broken appliances that came with the home; forgetting trim around doors; cutting the vinyl siding; doors that still won’t close right....all of which was solely Clayton’s doings. the sales The sales person was very unprofessional. you ask questions and they get mad a he basically tells you to leave.
We purchased a new home from Clayton Homes on Pleasantburg Dr. They were friendly and helpful and no "hard sell" which I appreciated. We had excellent service during and after the sale with all the small fixes taken care of that come with a new home. We have been in our home 3 years and continue to love it!
