The Clay Pot is a wonderful Contemporary Indian restaurant in downtown Austin. Wonderful food and service.
The atmosphere of the downtown restaurant is open and inviting & the patio is Cool. Our group ordered a variety of appetizers/entree’s everything that I ate was delicious. Before we left the restaurant we planned a date to return... the reopening was worth the wait!
If you want traditional Pho, you're out of luck. Their Pho is terrible.
Food is good, but the service was terrible on Tuesday night.
I telephoned and ordered the pineapple fried rice to go. I was told it would be ready in fifteen to 20 minutes. I arrived in 10 minutes and the order was ready for me to pick up. It was delicious with the jalapenos adding the right amount of heat. I plan to order the same thing tonight. I think I got hooked on pineapple fried rice.
