Clay Gym. RIP . I started here in 2001 under the founder Robin Brown and left few months ago after ownership withheld my wages for several weeks. Owners and CfO had an predatory and abusive status against an every day / regular employee. From not paying taxes to fake Health insurance , to not being able to cover payroll... bounce checks , and many other tricks that at the end had only one end line. Predatory, dishonest gym. Stay away. Still working with my credit card company to return the funds that they wrongly withdrew. I had a month to month membership with no commitment—yet after canceling in writing in April when I moved, with their acknowledged receipt, they have charged my card month after month. No one returns emails or calls from membership associates to General Manager—not Darren, not Chris, not William, not Nelson, not Erica. No apology or even acknowledgement.
