The power just went out and it’s 85 and sunny. Embarrassing. For the 10+ years I’ve had clay electric they’ve been the worst to us here in Fairbanks Florida.
I recently moved outside Gainesville city limits and will be moving again very quickly to literally anywhere else with a better electricity company. Every. Single. Day the power goes out for a considerable time. These are not only minutes but hours I am going without internet, lighting, being able to charge my phone, being able to cook for my family. People have jobs they need to charge their phones for to get up in time. People work from home and need reliable electricity to be able to connect to the internet. People have c... read more
All the horror stories you read about them are real. They do little to no preparation for storms and to prevent power outages. Had them for over 20 years and it has never gotten better. The incident that led me to write this review, there was no weather events happening or heavy winds going on at the time, and the power randomly went out for no apparent reason. I call them and they tell me it’ll be over 3-4 hours before the power is restored with not a cloud in the sky. Unless you have a backup generator for your whole home ... read more
