My family have been members since 1950. I became a member in 1981. The cost per kw hour has always been very competitive. The coop has always been managed with the highest level of ethics and service to its members. Every employee I have encountered over the years has treated me with the utmost courtesy and respect. I am proud to be a member of a friendly and caring coop.
Power been out 4+hours was suppose to be back on at 218 it ain't come back on till 305 it literally stayed on 30 seconds went rite back off now it says it's been reported but when you call to get update just says no power outage reported !!! So wtf good is your automated system if it won't even take a report of power outage
stay away at all costs and choose any other provider. they do nothing to prevent future power outages despite losing power ever single time it rains, nonetheless, every time it storms. They know their power lines suck but continue to do nothing to solve the problem for future prevention. Absolute joke of a power company. Only 200 ppl without power with GRU this storm, yet there are THOUSANDS without power on clay electric’s outage map. Embarrassing.

One of the most unreliable power companies in the state. If someone breaks wind too close to their power lines, the lights flicker. Typical afternoon thunderstorm nearby, plan on a 2-4 hour outage. Hurricane? Anywhere from 7-14 days without power. They'll send you an email estimating when your power is going to be back on, just add 24-48 hours to their esti... read more
