Wanted to try out Claw & Hammer for dinner with some friends. We had their year old baby with us, so we were out upstairs so the stroller wasn’t in the way downstairs. Both floors had great, nautical ambience with high end dining vibes and excellent service to back it up. Our server was green, but he was very attentive and took great care of us. Stopped in for lunch today, had not stepped into this building since I used to work there. The wedge salad was great, and the tallow fries were wonderful. I was warned that the stone crab claws were previously frozen but I decided try them anyway. Gotta say, I should have opted against them. Chewy and watery tasting. The meat all stuck to the cartilage and was difficult to eat without getting pieces of cartilage in your mouth. Definitely not worth $45 for 4 small claws..Service and atmosphere were spot on.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner in honor of our anniversary. The ambiance, the service and most importantly the food was spot on. Definitely a great evening. We were welcomed by the general manager Don and served by Ethan who did an excellent job. Dinner was delicious. We both got the haddock Oscar, crab on top. Finished with the banana cream pie.
Had dinner with my company upstairs as a group. Prefix menu, it was fabulous. Food, drink and service were excellent.
