Sat at the bar (are usual choice) and just had the Coconut Shrimp and Wedge Salad this time. Both were great. My cocktail was PERFECT. Just wish they had a better beer selection for my other half!!! IPA's are a must have and they were out. Service was a bit slow. Being a holiday weekend... ever thou it was mid afternoon, they should have had two bartenders on since the bartender was super busy with accommodating the servers drinks. Regardless... Will always make a stop into Claudio's. It's a must in Greenport ;)
I was very disappointed with Claudio's restaurant. It was not very busy and the staff seemed to be scattered. My companion ordered lobster bisque and although it tasted good there were no chunks of lobster in the soup. The waiter took my son in law's order wrong and brought him the wrong food. Not wanting to make everyone wait until he got his correct order my son in law took the food that was brought to him but did not enjoy it. Our waiter was excellent, oysters were ok, New England clam chowder was great, and lobster rolls were sub par.
Family friendly atmosphere. Great location and warm staff.
Lobster was DELISH! Always love making a trip out east to Claudio's.
