Classic Products was founded by Bob Carteaux and Marty Schmidt in 1959 as the Fort Wayne Bowling Supply. The company, headquartered in a Fort Wayne, Ind., was made up of two divisions. Carteaux handled the sales of bowling products to proprietors and Schmidt handled its retail business.
