I would like to thank Mark ******* of Classic Drywall for teaching me 3 important business lessons. 1. Check the reputation of every contractor. 2. Contractors are not always your friends. 3. Never pay in full until the job is complete. If they need a draw always with hold twice the amount you think it would take to finish the job. Mark runs a speed shop. They don’t even deserve 1 star but it’s the minimum. Mark Settles and his crews are a big joke! He had to have been handed this company from daddy because there is no way he built this business doing it the way he does it. Hangers put 5/8” and 1/2” on the same wall. They missed so many studs I quit counting. Loose board everywhere, ceiling and walls. Finishing was so bad. It was supposed to be Level 4. It wouldn’t pass for level 1. Scammer and was warned before by another contractor that he would never take care of the problem. Had drywall delivered, delivery guy made 6 to 8 inch ruts in our front yard drove through the front yard to deliver the drywall ruined my front yard. Said he would take care of, seven months later, he reneged and said that his drywaller that had to look for a smoke detector that they covered up, wasn’t where the electrician said it was. Worst customer service ever and the worst drywall job and when we told them, it was a bad job they didn’t like it in the owner talk to us. We was horrible. Said we was the worst homeowners ever and we had just paid a bunch of money to finish our basement, but the builder had to cut a hole to fix our outside faucet because it was loose so they hired drywall, and it was the worst experience ever. I don’t recommend them to anyone.
