I am very serious about supporting Black businesses. I liked the shop and the atmosphere felt good. My difficulty was due to a failure to communicate. The gentleman who served me seemed hesitant about quoting me a price for the service I wanted. I figured that was simply a cultural difference. Perhaps he was worried I would refuse the service if it was too expensive. ( But would that not be the right thing to do?
