I went to Cuts back in May, where I had asked for a shape up and a fade from a barber who, without my permission, cut a portion of my afro from its original alignment near my hairline. Classic Barber Shop, a renowned establishment in Brooklyn, has been my preferred destination for haircuts for approximately 14 years. Initially, I perceived the shop as overly sophisticated, suspecting that the clientele might be insincere. However, my first visit transformed my perception.
