This company towed my customers vehicle by order of the Swansea, IL police on 8-2-18. I went to the the tow yard the next morning (11.5 hours after the tow) to retrieve the vehicle and avoid storage fees. In Illinois, no towing company can impose charges for storage for the first 24 hours after towing, according to the Illinois vehicle code (625 ILCS 5/18a-200 paragraph 6).
