I came in with a severe allergic reaction to a severe sunburn which was later determined through other health care professionals to be a second degree burn in addition to an allergic reaction. While the nurse I saw at this visit was kind, professional, and compassionate I felt the PA I saw was dismissive and did not explore all the options that could have assisted me in this setting.
