Avoid this company at all costs, terrible and unprofessional. Had an appraiser, Mike Long, turn in an appraisal that was 500-800k too low (house appraised 2.2M in Nov 2023 and now 1.7M March 2025 after 250k+ in post builder construction upgrades) and nothing was done to rectify his errors and had to pay for a new appraisal from a reputable company. Can’t stress enough how awful Class Valuation is, 10 out of 10 do not recommend.
A lender we are interested working with had a drive-by appraisal ordered, which was conducted by an appraiser working for Class Valuation. The appraiser they sent did a sloppy job and made multiple mistakes with our appraisal. He entered wrong data and missed data. He compared our house to houses that were not even comparable. Class is the largest appraisal management company in the country. Most of the reviews I see on here that are negative are not about Class, they are about the appraiser who didn't give a home value that was high enough for the reviewer. Guess what, that is not Class's fault, it's the appraiser's sole responsibility to provide the home value. Class and the lender cannot influence that. If you don't like your home value, dispute it with a reconsideration of value, but don't blame Class for what an appraiser did.
This company was hired for the appraisal for a client of mine. Appraisal was way to high, using comps from much more desirable communities with lower hoa, lower taxes, and other factors that brought the appraisal up. Beware!!!
Error es poco decir. Es un horror. Informe pésimamente hecho. Se olvidaron de poner la cantidad de baños y cuartos de la casa. Tampoco mencionaron la existencia de electrodomésticos. Cuando leí el reporte juré que era un chiste. No lo hacen de novatos o falta de atención. Lo hacen para estafar. Un HORROR.
