Found Clasico Italian Chophouse in Sarasota. Sat at the bar, wanted quick service. This bartender lady Johnny dropped menus. I asked for a large Aqua Pana with lemons, no ice. She came back with my bottle of water and that was it. No ask if I wanted a cocktail, didn’t go over the menu, didn’t mention anything except that they had happy hour. I have never made a negative review about service before because I know how hard waiters and people in the food industry work and I have the most respect for them. Food was great but the server Geoffrey ruined the experience for us. He was so nice when he came originally and then as soon as we said we won’t get drinks and will stick with water, from that moment on he came 1 time in the next hour and a half we were there to check on us. Our server anticipated our needs, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. It’s rare to feel this well taken care of—thank you for making our night extra special!
Loved the food and atmosphere. Reservations are recommended. Our service was amazing and the food was delicious. Great menu, and my filet was awesome.
