Clarksburg animal hospital would rather let your dog die then work with you with a partial payment and payment in full in the next day when the dog would've been hospitalized anyway!! They diagnosed our sick puppy with parvo and wanted a $500 deposit before they would start any kind of treatment at all!! I work afternoon shift in a coal mine and could not be there to give them the money they wanted to start his treatment so they turned our little sick puppy away!!
Dr. Greta and her staff have been taking excellent care of my baby Coco (wild child) for the past 6 years. Coco has serious anxiety issues and they are so patient with us. No matter what the ailment, they always have her up and running within 24 hours and she's been through it; skin allergies, torn acl, parasites causing loose bowels...you name it, they've cured it. I was most impressed with our last visit, Coco got sick and they squeezed us in on a busy Saturday. Thank you so much! Coco thanks you, too!
Our vet finally retired, she was located in New Market ( well worth the drive) so we were looking for a new vet... We took both of our boys there for their annual check ups, NOT impressed at all!!! I will not be going back!! Very cold and impersonal! They immediately said that we needed to pull all of our 12 year olds teeth....Not gonna happen! They also kept pestering us with emails, and phone calls to come back so we could help pay the mortgage payments, I am sure! We have fallen in love with Petsmart in Germantown MD.... ... read more
We brought our dog, Emily, to Clarksburg Animal Hospital shortly after we rescued her. Dr. Greta and the staff were wonderful! Emily had many chronic health problems which challenged the team there. Dr. Greta researched care options, consulted with specialists and even consulted with experts at the food companies on allergens in the food. I always felt that my dog was in the best care around.
