My mother started treatments about a year ago for a carcinoma on her shin. She was encouraged to have radiation therapy instead of surgery, without advising of possible side effects or complications. She was not informed of skin care during treatments. She began a regiment of 20 treatments that turned into 25 treatments. The banner on the website is very misleading regarding the outcome of radiotherapy. A year later, we are still trying to get the wound healed.
