Family owned and operated for over 70 years. Specializing in Real Charcoal BBQ cooking. 1/3 Lbs. Certified Angus Beef patties cooked to order over an open BBQ pit. Burgers, NY Steak Sandwiches, Hot Links, Polish Sausage's, Pork Baby Back Ribs and 1/2 BBQ Chicken Dinners are just a start to our extensive menu. Out door Patio seating, open air indoor seating just add to the history and the legend of this iconic institution.

Great food and good price. Not a lot of room inside, but plenty of space out in the sunshine!
Went here for lunch today. It was delish had the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and fries.
A wonderful slice of old Mountain View. 70 years and still going strong.
I worked here in the late 60's. Lou and Laura Galletta were the owners. Real milkshakes , and charcoal burgers that we cooked in front of the customers.
They have been cooking over Gas since the 90's! No charcoal used as in the past, been eating there since 1960, but after I brought it up, they replied: we maintain the quality of our food and took the words Charcoal Broiler out of their ad I'm the Mtn. View Voice city paper, but not off the store sign! Shame on you Clarkes, false advertising.
The pork ribs were tasty...meat falling off the bone. Huge baked potato. .. sorry. I had to take the large green salad home.
One of the best chicken sandwich s ever. Love the condiment bar.
