RecommendedI happened to find Clarke's from being in the area. Ordered some apple cider doughnuts they were so fresh. Mathew was so friendly! I'll have to be back!

Delicious sandwiches and flaky European desserts that really made me remember I have some Irish heritage. One of the best corned beef sandwiches I’ve had in my life, and it came with sweet(!(-:) cole slaw and a cookie! The cream puff had heaven in it! The atmosphere reminds me of the family deli I grew up with in Chicago, Paulina Market: Great food by people who care.
Wow! We found Clarke’s on a whim after being in the area. We stopped in hoping to have a deli sandwich, but quickly changed our minds when we heard the special was fish and chips. Hands down, it was some of the best fish and chips we have ever had. The fish was fried just right and not greasy. The tarter sauce was superb! To top it off, the owner, Matthew, made us feel like we were in his home! We will definitely be back!
We had a good lunch here, and I think that the food itself is pretty good. Before I left, I bought about $25 worth of cookies to bring to my coworkers as well as a cream puff for myself. The cream puff was actually rancid, and was entirely inedible. I spit out the tiny bite I took-and I can't think of a time that I've ever done that before. I hadn’t been to Clark’s for several years, so I took a friend there that had never been to Clark’s before. What a disappointment! I had a sandwich and the bread was dry and stale. I took home lemon bars and they were dry and not fresh. Won’t be going back there!
Authentic Irish food that tastes fantastic paired with fresh baked pastries. You can’t go wrong . They have tables inside so go eat breakfast or lunch there you will not be disappointed !! To top it all off Mathew the owner is a hoot and very friendly!!
