Really cozy, really spacious. Doesn’t feel like a hotel or inn, it’s just a house to stay in (how it should be). A must visit.
This grand old mansion is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Clarksdale. The place is beautifully furnished and the bed was just perfect. The amenities were wonderful. There was fruit and bagels, cereal and drinks (including wine) that was left out for our use. The guests were an eclectic mix or europeans, musicians and travelers from around the states. Nous avons séjourné cette semaine dans l’annexe du Clark House et avons été très déçus. L’emplacement est idéal, certes. Par contre, la façade de l’établissement ne reflète pas du tout ce que vous trouverez dans les chambres. Il n’y a aucun produit dans la salle de bain (pas de shampoing ni gel douche); seulement une savonnette pour les mains (le stricte minimum), même pas de sac poubelle dans la poubelle qui n’avait pas été remise en place. A really nice place to stay and listen to great music in Clarksdale!
If only all hotels were like this. A bit of old fashioned comfort. A good sized bedroom complete with multiple comfortable arm chairs, a real writing desk. Public rooms to relax in. Continental style breakfast and help yourself tea, coffee and snacks whenever you want. If I'm every in Clarksdale again, that's where I would stay. I cannot recommend this place enough - give it a go.
