Matt was an excellent agent for us. We consistently felt as if we were his only clients. He was very knowledgeable about the local market, and fast to research more specific questions about the quirks of each individual property, such as local city zoning laws and building codes. He is also very pleasant and maintains good working relationships with other local professionals. I would absolutely recommend.

I moved into an apartment where the bathroom was so dirty that I immediately noted it on the move-in condition form and reported it directly to Melanie in the office. She dismissed my concerns with, "I checked and it was clean." Before my move-out inspection, I even paid someone to clean the unit thoroughly. Despite this, Melanie claimed the bathroom still wasn’t cleaned to her satisfaction. I then personally re-cleaned it and returned the keys. These are the best landlords I've ever had. They treat me well regardless, have always been understanding and upright people, and the rent is reasonable and accommodating from the small studios to very nice two bedrooms I've rented. Melanie or one of the staff has always been present in normal hours, and I'm very grateful for the way these people have treated me in comparison to other landlords I've had in Missoula. I rent from them, I've been here almost a year and they are very responsive when there are issues, the office staff is incredibly friendly, they don't seem like they are out to squeeze every red cent possible out of you like most property management companies. When I was applying and needed a day or two to get the security deposit they were super flexible, melanie showed me the apartment and said it was her personal favorite that they rent. In a town full of shady property management companies and bad landlords, Clark Fork Realty stands high above the rest! I have lived and rented in Missoula since 2011 and these folks are hands-down the best people I have rented from. Clark Fork Realty is timely, professional, non-intrusive, and very easy to deal with.
