I had a lovely stay over Memorial Day weekend. The location is perfect for walking into town within minutes. It’s also down a couple of blocks from the clipper rail trail which is a path for walking, biking and running. What I love about inns is the kind of hospitality you experience different than a hotel. Home away from home! The only place we stay at in Newburyport! Exceptionally clean, warm and inviting historical decor. The inn keepers make you feel like family. Breakfast has options for those with food allergies and and is located in a 4 season porch adjacent to the beautiful garden. Plenty of private parking and walking distance to the beautiful downtown area. The only place to stay and play in Newburyport!

Staying here was a wonderful experience. I love historic homes and to be able to stay in one was a treat. It is filled with beautiful antiques and you can imagine that you are going back in time. Caitlin the innkeeper is this young, vibrant lady who prepares delicious homemade items for the breakfast selections and makes you feel at home.
Although we didn't meet the ghost, our stay at the Inn was exceptional. The staff was 5 star, the breakfast was great & their location is perfect. It's just a few blocks from downtown. We'll be back.
