Stay away from this salon if you have hair on your head. I came in, with my natural hair requesting a sew in with leave out, thinking that these people offered wash and condition or AT THE LEAST just a blowdry before braiding my hair. Nope, these people have no wash bowl, they had no blow drier, not did the lady make any attempt to even detangle my hair while braiding. The atmosphere was dead, unsanitary and unwelcoming. Poor customer service and bad manners! I was scheduled for a 2pm appointment, only for me to drive 40miles there, the very rude stylist, said didn’t I see her call at 11am to cancel the appointment? It turned out, she actually called a wrong number, after looking through my call log. I have been taking my princess here for nearly 7 years and not once have had a problem here with any of the stylists. They are always professional & courteous. They are like any other black salon. They stay busy, so you will have a wait, but their pricing and quality make up for it. It hurts me to see bad reviews on such a wonderful business these ladies have built.
I will start off by saying the ladies know how to braid BUT punctuality needs to be better. I had an appointment at 5pm and started 3hrs after. this has happened twice since going. also I want to point out I had originally called for the price of a hairstyle I wanted which was $150, when I was done I was charged $180,which I felt a way because I did wait 3 hrs to start my hair.
