Eye surgery of any kind can be scary, but from the first consultation to the one month post check with 20/20 vision, Claris is the best! Each person in the office was a delight to talk to and encouraging. I recommend Dr. Carlson! Highly! I had a consultation last year with another surgery group and the were going to perform Lasik. Dr. Carlson showed me that I wasn't the best candidate for Lasik and recommended Lasek. My vision is better and clearer than with glasses or contacts!
I had always wanted corrective eye surgery but never acted on it. The moment I walked through the door I was welcomed by a fantastic team who truly want their patients to walk out the door happier than when they walked in. Dr. Carlson and his entire office staff are THE BEST! Everyone from Dr. Carlson down are professional, knowledge and welcoming. Just had my second eye done and love the results. This past visit was my first, and I was amazed at how thorough the staff and Dr. Carlson was! I had my consultation for LASIK/LASEK and they really took their time to discuss the procedures and which one would be best for me. I'm very excited to schedule my procedure once I move to MN! The only downside was I waited about 35 mins past my appointment to be seen, but it's a busy doctor office and I quickly found out it was worth the wait.
The ophthalmic techs and the physician were very thorough and took the time to explain what my options were to improve both my near and distant vision. Highly recommend. Doug Soderberg, M.D.
