My room was clean, had what I needed, ie; coffee maker, fridge... but several lamps did not work, there were extension cords everywhere, and peeling paint/ wallpaper. However, my bed was comfortable and clean.

Wanted to use some Choice points to pay for 1/2 the room. Viewed optional hotels Choice offers for using points and, sadly, discovered they are all old/run down Clarions or Rodeway Inn. This particular Clarion in Richmond, KY was terrible. Parking lot crumbling, no electric front door, janky broke down luggage carts, no sloping area to roll cart down to car. Must manhandle luggage up large curb onto janky cart then fight through the front door. Night staff barely looked up from desk. Old, stained gray carpet in sterile white... read more
