Avoid this hotel. Not only did we find someone’s tooth in our room, the fridge wasn’t working for the entirety of our stay, and they don’t do daily housekeeping like any of the other hotels (unless you take the time to ask). In the end, the room wasn’t clean and my friend and I had a very poor experience on our bachelors trip. It’s a shame, because otherwise the location is very good, being near the beach, bars, and stores, so the Hotel has a lot of potential. We stayed from a Sunday through Wednesday in May (Mother’s Day). My husband and I agree that when we first walked in and stood in line waiting to check in, we might want to consider another hotel (think Hilton) next trip to Galveston. They were doing renovations so at least they’re trying to upgrade the exterior appearance and the lobby area.
