I found myself in a bind and without a place to stay while traveling around California. I needed a place to stay for just a few nights and found the Claremont Lodge. The room was nice and also clean, it was a really good deal for the price! The best part was the owner. I was waiting for a friend to pick me up after my stay and we started chatting. I have been in and out of motels for about a month now. I've grown up in Claremont my whole life and I've always seen this Motel. When I checked into my room I was amazed at the amenities!! maid service was very nice front desk check me in quickly quickly and the bed was very big and comfortable clean room,coffee maker, fridge,microwave, blow dryer & flat screen TV for the price was so comfy and affordable!

The bottom line is that it's not somewhere to go to for a romantic or beauty appreciating week-end because the facility won't add anything to that in terms of ambiance, etc. But, if you are looking for somewhere inexpensive to stay for a night or two and are prepared to make some allowances, given the price, the Claremont Lodge is excellent value. I found that the cheaper price was online, rather than telephone booking.

Nice little comfortable room. King size bed , a little too high, but sleeping was okay. Refrigerator and microwave in room an added plus, and the internet works great. There are several chain restaurants in the area, and a convenience store a few feet away from my door. Bus stop on the corner, and my cousin preferred this room for me , as opposed to where I previously stayed.

We just had a couple days to visit family and wanted a hotel in the general area. This hotel is easy to get to from Interstate 10. It's not a flashy hotel and it doesn't have all the frills but we were not looking for that. We found the room clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a microwave,frig and coffee maker and that's all we needed

I was reluctant to stay here, but I was pleasantly surprised. I asked for a nonsmoking, quiet room when I booked, and I was given a room on the far side from Interstate 10. The floor was fake wood, and there were no detectable odors in the room. The room was spacious and had a TV, microwave, and refrigerator without a freezer compartment

My girlfriend & I stayed here for a week in March. It was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, basic but good amenities. Lovely little pool. We had the same housekeeper all week. We were pleased to give her a $10 Tip upon checkout.
