I had a pregnancy confirmation appointment with Dr. Clare on Oct 2nd 2024, my first pregnancy, he didn’t introduce himself when he entered the room. He wasn’t familiar with my medical history in fact he was just writing my history on a sheet of paper instead of looking at the EMRs. Upon doing the ultrasound he said there was no sac no fetal pole, it might just be too early to see the baby. Then stated he wouldn’t answer any questions until he had more data points. At first I was skeptical in what to expect based on the reviews I saw on this site. However, Dr. Clare what very thorough and detailed in explaining my condition and previous test result. Offered recommendations etc. So I must say my first impression at my first visit with Dr. Clare was very good.
Shocked by this man’s poor bedside manner. He came in the room, introduced himself stood very close to the door, asked if I preferred one treatment or the other, then left. No follow up questions. With that interaction was under the impression he was just in there quick to ask that one question then he’d be back but to our surprise, that was it! I was part of Dr. Clare's medical group for my last pregnancy. He has terrible bedside manner and is not compassionate. We ended up losing our little girl- he wouldn't take the time to answer questions, wouldn't do anything to help save my pregnancy, and didn't seem to care after I delivered her too early. If you want a Dr. who cares and will take the time to talk to you, find someone else. It's bad enough losing a child. But to feel like you are not in good hands makes the experience worse.
Answered all of my questions. This is a great group!!
