The security part on ClareHome app disappeared less than a year after moving into new build by Brightland/Gehan. Contacted Clare and they weren’t helpful and directed me to installer. Contacted the installer and they said they no longer work with Clare and couldn’t help. Save yourself the trouble and use a more renowned and well known brand.
Software and hardware quality are dreadful.
When you leave a voice message for technical support, which you are forced to do when they are busy, they never call you back. This has happened on multiple occasions. The most recent is having left a message on 9-25. It is now 9-29. Nothing!
Stay clear of Clare. I built a new house less than 3 years ago and installed Clare Home products - within 1 1/2 years the security cameras quit recording, then the doorbell camera died and now the security system controller failed – I am advised by the installer it is now off warranty and they no longer make replacements. So in less than 3 years every piece of their product failed and I am having to start over – stay clear of this junk..
It works only at times. Terrible system!
