I have lived in or near Vinita all my life, this “cafe” is and will always b my favorite!! Keep up the good cook in’💜💜💜
My wife and I have eaten at Clanton's Cafe about 7-8 times since we first saw it on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" and have enjoyed everything we have tried. We have visited about 10 or so places that have been on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" and this one is one of the very best. The service is also very good. My personal favorite is the "Calf Fries" with the sauce that Guy helped the owner make. It is #1 in my Books!! If you are in the area, you must try!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The food was very bland. I went to eat there after hearing so much about there chicken fried steaks on television. However i found them to be very bland, no flavor and you could rally taste the flour. I was very disappointed in the service as well. Curt and short dispositions seem to be the general attitude of the staff. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.
