Delicious Bucket of Crab Legs – This is the kind of joint with plastic bibs and sawdust on the floor -- which is exactly what we were looking for. The sweet rolls they gave us and the crab stuffed mushrooms we ordered were the perfect way to start a meal. The mushrooms were juicy and served in a deliciously creamy gravy. Great seafood standby – When I want a great seafood dinner, I will normally force my husband to drive to Redondo Beach. But, if I'm looking for good and consistent seafood, we'll head to Clancy's every time. I'm not the biggest fan of their New England Clam Chowder...but I'm always up for freshly shucked oysters on the 1/2 shell and steamed king crab legs with clarified butter for dipping. good fresh fish – good place to eat. food was good fresh fresh. price is good not overly pricey but not cheap either. i think that you pay a little more than what you get but not by much. the service was good, our waiter was a bit blunt and boarder line rude but he was being real. atmosphere is very casual. they have a lobster tank and sawdust on the floor. we went on a friday at 7:30pm and they were very very busy. so make reservations
Fresh seafood, great value – Clancy's is a great restaurant for lunch and dinner. They have really yummy clam chowder (New England style) and lobster bisque. At dinner, they serve these fried bread rolls that are highly addicting. Make sure you save room for your entree though. our neighborhood restaurant – Clancy's is great! Ever since we moved to Glendale this has become our weekly spot! Good beer list and they make a perfect dirty martini!!! The oyster selection is VERY limited but always fresh! Great deals thoughout the week and who can pass up a pound of snow crab $20 !!!!!! on Sundays and its fresh!!!!! Gladstones atmosphere...better food...better value – Here is another restaurant i've been going to since I was a kid. I love just picking something from their specials...i've never been disappointed. Also, it's just great to have oysters and a beer here. The fish and chips are really good too!
Great place for Fresh Seafood and Drinks – The sports bar at Clancy's is the highlight here. Ten plus TVs showing all of the big games. A huge beautiful bar with giant whale bones as a centerpiece. Clacny's serves some tremendous dishes, Chilean Seabass with potato crusting is to die for. The make good strong drinks and have a great staff. Reminds Me Of East Coast Fish Restaurants – Clancys is A-OK. A BIG menu, with lots of good food. The fish is always fresh. The drinks are always well-poured. The servers are usually friendly and attentive. Actually, Im heading over there right now.
