The location is inside of ******* and has numerous posts that say "free ear piercing...its out thing". One sign said "free ear piercing (with starter set in really small letters...which...why are you hiding that's theres a cost). I certainly expected to pay SOMETHING. We came to get our daughter's ears pierced and as soon as I walked through the unlocked doors a girl yelled at me from behind the counter that they were closed. We made an appointment and left our number and no one had contacted us. It was 6:35 pm and the store was closing early due to weather. Worst ear piercing experience ever. DO NOT GO TO CLAIRE'S!! Go to a reputable tattoo/piercing shop please!!! My 8 year old earned her own money to get her ears pierced. I had to argue with the girl doing it, telling her they weren't even ... ultimately, the ears got pierced but were crooked (as I had stated several times throughout the process). I placed an order back in July and have yet to receive it. I contacted customer service multiple times only to be told I would be issued a refund, but not my items. The items are now sold out and they absolutely refuse to make good on it by trying to locate and reship the items. This is bad business and Claires should be ashamed of themselves!! They are cheaters and thieves!!

In reference to ************************************************************************ Employees posting hand written signs saying "on break, be back at 6" and not reopening the store. On Sunday, July 17, 2022, I purchased earrings for my Tragus (outer ear lope). From the picture on the package and the sales person that sold me the earrings stated they would fit my ear. When I got ready to insert the earring into my ear, the stem of the earring was to "big" to enter into the hole in my ear. I took the purchase back and was told that I could "not" return these earrings. I have made the Decision to step down from my multi manager position at Claires due to the fact the current DM has no consideration for mental illness. I've ordered from Claire's three times. The first time I used their standard shipping it took 29 days to get my order. The second time I did not get my order because it said the shipping label was incomplete. The third time I ordered express shipping paid for it and 7 days later it's still not here. When talking to their customer service they said they weren't allowed to issue refunds for shipping.

One Friday I attempted to place an online order paying through PayPal. After submitting payment through PayPal I was redirected to the Claires website where I was told and error occurred and my card would not be charged. I then went back and purchased the items I attempted to the first time and the order was completed. A few hours later I received two confirmation emails with two different order numbers.
