Dr. Besilu enters the examining room, aware of my health status, test results, and history. He is also very concerned about making me optimally functional. I trust him completely and will comply with his instructions (a big issue between me and doctors) because he has proven that he understands my health and knows his field.
I was so hopeful about the apt. My neurologist ( who I had seen for my pain and headaches ) had sent me to him after my MRI showed “moderate to severe “ stenosis to C 4 5 and C 7 8. My neurologist had told me my choices were nerve block shots for pain or surgery that physical therapy could make it worse. Dr Lynn was very condescending and arrogant as he stated HE was the surgeon and would not do surgery and then wrote in my report that I had”fairly mild stenosis “ consistent with my age. ( which is a lie) he recommended phy ... read more
Dr Winneke has been retired for years, and I never did a review on him. He was the best pediatric cardiologist in Columbia. He found a potential life threatening anomaly when someone else missed it. Great human and very compassionate.
He wrote my partner off basically when he presented with severe abdominal pain. We suspected appendicitis, he said nope. He had an enlarged appendix and said he’d check again in a few months. He mentioned he’s seen appendiceal cancer and perfectly healthy people have died from it. Why would you say that? After all that, he basically refused to remove the appendix. So we transferred to another hospital and had it taken out. Surprise! Appendicitis. Thank god he had it taken out before it burst and our 2 month old son lost his ... read more
Dr. Patel is excellent, had a great experience. Very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. The procedure went really well and I had no scarring at all. Very happy with results!
We loved Dr.Kevan and are thrilled to have her as our provider. She came highly recommended and I too will continue to recommend her to others.
Dr Burnikel is an exceptional Orthpedic Surgeon! From the time I first saw him two plus years ago I felt he and his staff were patient centered and there to help me. I received steroid shots for several years until they were no longer effective. Dr Burnikel never rushed me into surgery as other orthopedic surgeons had—“when you’re ready for surgery, come back to see me.”(this was my second knee replacement). I had complications with my first knee that were never addressed by my first surgeon. In the total replacement of my s... read more
Never available. He mostly works hospital and only in office 1 day a wk per location. It took months to be seen after established and about 6 mos for procedures. He uses PA or NP for all problems addressed between visits instead of himself. Not optimal for patients with GI diseases. I transferred to Cohen after yrs of diagnosed Crohn’s and other GI disease. He never tried to know me as a patient and never allowed enough time for a full history. When any symptoms arose, he was quick to dismiss. He used the IBS excuse if he ha... read more
