Dr. Bowey does not provide adequate medical care. For 5 years I went to her and complained I was really unwell and had terrible fatigue. She continued to run the same blood tests and tell me I’m fine. Turns out she missed a major life threatening diagnosis that could have been cured if found earlier. Do not ruin your health and go to this physician.
On Oct 27, 2022 I scheduled an appt with Dr Bowey for the date of Feb 9, 2023. I was willing to wait to see her as I liked the info I had read up on her. I had recently moved from another state and needed to find a doctor for the Phoenix area. On Feb 6, I received an email reminding of the appt for Feb 9, check in, and complete the paperwork that I did taking almost an hour to do. She has been our family provider for years and she is always thorough in her exams and treatment. She has a great “bedside manner” and is always responsive to our questions.
Among the best PCPs I have ever had. Consistently demonstrates her concern for her patients’ welfare and is incredibly responsive to inquiries on their MyChart platform.
Great doctor - takes the time to listen to you and discuss issues and options. Highly recommend.
New patient visit. Dr Bowey ordered labs (12 tube draw), 4 weeks later I have still not received a results call. Left 2 messages, still no call. Terrible 1st impression, frustrating and dissatisfing experience.
I have been seeing Dr Bowey for 8 years. Throughout that time she has been caring, reassuring, sensitive – and takes all measures to make an accurate diagnosis. She retains details of my health status and views me as a complete human being. I am encouraged to participate wholly as a partner in my health care. She's accessible, engaged, and responsive. In short, I highly value my relationship with Dr Bowey. (Too, her medical assistant Mayra makes an outstanding contribution to the practice.)
Dr. Bowey has a very calm and reassuring demeanor. She inspires confidence when analyzing patient problems and making decisions for further diagnostics or treatments. I find her to be compassionate and personable as well as skilled.
I was a patient of Dr. Bowey's for years. This year when I went in for my annual Dr. Bowey was upset with me for seeing a specialist and for questioning the referral process in her office. She treated me in a way that was beyond demeaning and highly unprofessional. I terminated the office visit and will never go back. I had been a patient at that office for over 10 years. I am so disappointed and shocked at her disregard for patient care. Something is very wrong here.
