Charlie b*** put in bid for renovation we were doing. once started the 1st project - redoing deck railing I was told was now double the cost, to over 1000$ for adding 2x2s and wouldn't provide breakdown of materials. 2nd project that was started same time was replacing an iron railing on stairway with a half wall. he had put a bid in for putting in a half wall, but not drywalling it (are you serious?). and when I questioned the items listed in the bid he ensured me that this is the way the banks wanted them written out. just... read more
