RecommendedMy son takes lessons from Chris. He is knowledgeable, accommodating, organized and professional. He gives suggestions for different approaches and techniques on all percussion instruments. He also has retail sales for anything we might need with reasonable prices. I highly recommend this business
CK's Drum Shop is a local business with exceptional customer service. As a conga player, there is nothing more frustrating than getting the wrong size replacement head. Many online retailers don't have all the dimensions. Bring your drum into the store. Have accurate measurements taken. Get the right head the first time!
Simply a shout out to "Mr. Chris" (& his Parents, as well). My 9- years old Grandson (who happens to have ADHD) has been taking lessons at CK's Drum Shop since October & it has been transformational for him. My Daughter has elected to suspend my Grandson's lessons for him until she believes it is safe for him to return. Parents must do what they feel is best for their children. But as for me? Chris really knows his stuff, and has a lot of access to great products. Why go through Steve Weiss it Lonestar when you have a guy like Chris working WITH you, not just trying to sell you.
