Terrible experience with Chris. Absolutely no communication or response from him. Despite multiple calls and meetings about a premises, we have yet to receive any information from him. He ignores our messages and calls with no explanation. Would not recommend. 1 star.
I was a tenant for a property managed by Chris for a couple of years. I found him to be very slow when dealing with property problems that arose. He took a long time to get back to my queries, including ones that were urgent such as finding out I am paying for another unit's electricity due to a meter connection error in the wiring of the property building. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and cost effective. Leased out my restaurant in the CBD within a month of advertising it.
I feel treatment was immoral and perhaps even illegal (property shown to 1 viewer and was then sold to CJM staff member who sold a year later for 21% more). Sold in 2015, by 2022 the property still shows on CJM website as a "recent sale". Smoke & mirrors all the way in my opinion. Chris is extremely knowledgeable in regards to Surry Hills commercial real estate and as far as I know he is the only specialist in the area. He was referred by a friend and may be Surry Hills best real estate secret as he knows the market better than anyone else. When he didn’t have exactly what we were looking for, he found the perfect property for us. He seems to know all the off market deals. He now manages the property we purchased and he really is on top of it. Overall a great experience.
