Found another thing I LOVE about living on SSI! Can't believe we haven't been in before tonight! Amazing! Seriously....amazing deep dish pizza! The "Inbetween" meatball appetizer with homemade bread...Wow! We can't wait to go back! Met the owners too-lovely!
CJ's Italian Cafe'. Good food and plenty of it! Great waitstaff too! Excellent red sauce, perfectly cooked pasta and the fresh baked bread and pizza crust are out if this world!! The place is small and eclectic! Most of the chairs are old and shaky, but artistically appointed. You wait a little for your food, but it's worth every second! Try it, you'll love it!
The deep dish pizza is absolutely delicious! We also got two thin crusts that were pretty good but nothing like that deep dish. We ordered to go so I can't speak on the atmosphere but I'd recommend ordering early as we had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes before our pick up order was ready.
Best pizza in town. You won't find better pizza in Brunswick St. Simon's area I promise u.
