I received a courtesy diagnostic printout of my vehicle from F******** Auto & Tire Repair in Providence when a nail was removed from a tire. I asked CJ if he could do the work and showed him the printout. The tire repair place was charging $128+ for the needed part. CJ informed me the part cost about $40.00 The tire place's work was guaranteed for 30 DAYS. CJ's work is guaranteed for 365 DAYS. I have never written a google review - I was moved by the excellent service at CJs to share. First time picking a new mechanic in my area so I was a little nervous, but after going I cannot recommend this shop enough. Carlos is kind, knowledgeable, courteous and very professional. Following my move to Rhode Island, CJs proved to be a valuable asset. Carlos consistently displays a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to honesty. On one occasion, I asked him to replace my battery, but after inspecting it, he concluded that it was still functional. Rather than charging me for the replacement, he chose to prioritize transparency and honesty. As a result, I have pledged my loyalty to his business and will not consider alternative options.
I've been going to CJ’s Auto for around 4 years now. He is an outstanding gentleman. He is honest and friendly. I never had to return my car to him because something wasn’t done right. He has always stood by the appointment time that we set. Being a woman going to a mechanic always seems stressful but I never felt like he was getting over on me.
