I had the honor of having Mike Cooley DJ and coordinate my wedding. The process started 8 months prior and Mike Cooley was the most professional and thoughtful event planner I could have ever asked for. Honestly if i could give negative stars i would! We hired DJ Mike Cooley because he was referred to us by another bride and unfortunately for us we did not check his reviews. He was absolutely terrible! We hired him because we needed a dj that was fluent in Nigerian music, which he claimed that he was. He actually told us that he would take us back to Nigeria, when in reality we never left the airport! DO NOT BOOK!!!! I recently assisted with the coordination of a wedding in the Daytona Beach area and the bride & groom hired this DJ. The DJ did absolutely NOTHING he promised them he would. His lack of professionalism was AWFUL!!! Mispronouncing wedding party names (after they were provided to him beforehand). Playing the wrong music for the brides' entrance (which had the bride in tears prior to walking down the aisle - you cannot get this moment back).
